Getting your landscape ready for Spring

NEW YORK, NY, April 16, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — Is your landscape at the office ready for Spring? If not, now is the time to start prepping. It’s a good idea to begin your process earlier than later so you’re not left with an unpleasant area when the weather is beautiful. Here is some advice from John Mini Distinctive Landscapes to get you started.

To start, mulching does wonders to an outdoor area. As soon as you spread new, fresh mulch down in between your green shrubs and colorful flowers, the area looks brand new. Mulching is crucial when you’re trying to make your landscape look ready for the Spring.

If you really want your mulch to look noticeable, before laying it down, plant new flowers and fix up the bushes. The colors from those plants will really pop and catch your eye in contrast to the mulch. Not only will it look nice, but it will also look like Spring.

In addition to the mulched and planted area, make sure you have your landscaping company hired to plant new grass seeds where it’s necessary, and eventually mow your grass. The grass is going to be dead and brown after the Winter, so it’s important to fix that as soon as you can. Also, you don’t want to wait too long to have it cut and end up with an ugly, overgrown area that will attract bugs.

The grass is nice to look at if it is taken care of correctly, but it would be hard to notice it if you have a dead tree taking the spotlight. Consider taking the tree down and planting a new one. A new tree will bring oxygen, color, and life to your landscaping. Not to mention, this could be a fun, team-building project if you wanted to plant the tree yourselves!

The Spring brings more than nice weather and bumblebees, it also inspires many ideas for landscaping around your office space. For help, advice, and all of your landscaping needs, contact John Mini Distinctive Landscapes, today!
